Universities and campuses
All the information is there.
But it doesn’t reach the people who need it.
Placenet gives your university a digital layer, on one campus, across several faculties or in programmes around the world. Students, teaching staff, employees or prospective students: each person sees on their phone what’s relevant to them, based on who they are, where they are and what’s happening. In the app your institution already has, in a new branded app or in a web app with nothing to download.
Thousands of students and information scattered across a thousand places.
You decide the places, who's who and what each person sees.
Placenet gives every place in your institution, whether a campus, a faculty, the library or a destination city, its own digital space. From there, each person’s phone adapts on its own.
You define the places
Each campus, each faculty, the library, the halls or the city where a programme is based.
You decide who's who
As many roles as you need. One person can have several.
You choose what they see and can do
In every place, for every role, degree or year, the right apps and content.
They come in through a single access point
Whatever the channel, Placenet knows where each person is and who they are.
From the first class to the final exam.
This is how a person’s phone changes as they move around the university, whether it’s a campus, a study abroad programme or an open day. Nobody touches a thing: the place changes, and so does what they see.
Example apps, made up. Your institution’s app will carry your brand, your colours and the design you have in mind.
A demo on real maps where you move the person around and switch roles.
More than 30 destinations and a single app for every student.

What people usually ask us.
Do people need to download an app?
Not necessarily. There are three options: build it into the app your institution already has, publish a new branded app on the App Store and Google Play, or a web app opened with a QR code, with nothing to download.
Does it integrate with the virtual campus and our systems?
Yes. It integrates with any tool you already use: a virtual campus such as Moodle, student records, admissions CRM, email or anything else. Your systems stay exactly the same.
Does it work for multiple campuses or study abroad programmes?
Yes. Each campus, faculty or destination city has its own digital space, and institution-wide content reaches everyone.
What does the AI assistant answer?
Whatever you teach it: information about your institution, each programme and each place. It answers at any hour based on who is asking and where they are, and what it gets asked most tells you what still needs explaining.
What data do I get?
Everything that happens digitally, tied to each place and moment: notices sent and opened by degree or year, use of services and bookings, attendance at classes and activities, how many people are in each space in real time, which apps are used most, what the AI assistant is asked most, and incidents and how they are resolved. View it by campus, programme, profile or week, live.
And for recruiting new students?
Yes. Prospective students and their families can have their own role: open days, fairs, campus visits and follow-up through to enrolment.
How many students does your institution have?
Tell us how many campuses or programmes you have and what you use today, and we’ll show you how it would work.
